Grange Trekking Centre

Full day and half-day rides are available with accommodation and good country-style food at the Grange.

The qualified staff will take you to the scenic Black Mountains to see the beautiful and exhilarating views. Situated in the historic vale of Ewyas between Hay on Wye and Abergavenny, single party, family or unaccompanied children are welcome, as well as novice and experienced riders.

Each rider is individually allocated to their mount and given instruction and demonstrations on handling, grooming and tackling up. As you ride through valleys, past waterfalls, visiting reservoirs, forests and heather covered mountaintops, you may see buzzards, grouse, native ponies and other interesting wildlife.
