Wales Trekking & Riding Association

About Us

This website is run by the Wales Trekking and Riding Association, which is an established organisation dedicated to the riding industry in Wales, run by people who are passionate about riding and horses.

The association is the longest running independent organisation of its type and was the first to develop an Operators Manual. It aims to provide a safe and enjoyable riding experience for the novice and experienced alike, whilst also looking after the well being of the horses and ponies. All members are regularly inspected to ensure high standards are maintained, all must comply with very stringent regulations and criteria.

Our members offer the complete range of riding experiences – from a led walk for a 4 year old to advanced tuition for an experienced rider. We believe that riding is a sport that can be enjoyed by everyone.

Wales boasts some of the best landscapes in the world & what better way to experience mountains, valleys, beaches and woodland than on horseback.
